Scope

This part of GB/T 14480 specifies the functional characteristics, measurement and inspection methods of general eddy current instruments. The evaluation of these properties makes it possible to accurately describe and compare eddy current testing equipment. By carefully selecting system performance, a dedicated eddy current testing system can be designed to meet the requirements. The provisions of this section also apply to eddy current auxiliary equipment. This section does not specify the technical indicators of inspection performance, nor does it specify the acceptance criteria, which are given in the application technical documents.
