Scope

This part of GB/T14480 specifies the performance of general eddy current testing systems and their testing and inspection methods. Through the system performance evaluation, the accurate characterization and comparability of the performance of eddy current testing equipment can be obtained. By selecting system performance, a consistent and effective eddy current inspection system can be designed for a specific inspection activity. The auxiliary equipment used shall be characterized using the principles of this section. This section does not give performance inspection indicators and inspection scope, which are given by the application documents.
