Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of food additive cinnamon oil. This standard applies to the essential oil with the characteristic aroma of Chinese cinnamon oil obtained from the dry leaves and branches of Chinese cinnamon tree (cinnamoum cassia nees) through steam distillation. This product is mainly used for the deployment of food flavor.
