This standard specifies the measurement methods and evaluation criteria for the mechanical vibration of hydroelectric power plants and energy storage pump station units, and is applicable to the evaluation of mechanical vibration within the normal operating range of hydroelectric power plant and energy storage pump station units. This standard specifies two evaluation criteria for mechanical vibration, one is to use the measured vibration amplitude for evaluation; the other is to use the measured vibration amplitude for evaluation with respect to the variation of the vibration reference value. This standard applies to hydroelectric power plants and energy storage pumping station units, whose rated speed is 50 r/min~1 800 r/min, and the power of generator/motor is greater than or equal to 1 MW. This standard applies to the following units: a) water turbine and water turbine generator (hydro turbine generator set); b) water pump turbine and generator motor (reversible pumped storage unit); c) independent water pump, water turbine and generator motor (three pumped storage units). This standard does not apply to the following units: a) pumps on thermal power plants or industrial equipment (see GB/T 11348.3); b) hydraulic machinery or units with rolling bearings; c) hydraulic machinery or units with water-lubricated bearings; d) decommissioned electric motors other than those used to drive accumulator pumps; e) hydroelectric generators used as synchronous condensers (using compressed air to relieve water from the turbine). The purpose of measuring the vibration (swing) of the bearing seat (bracket) and the main shaft of the hydroelectric power plant and the energy storage pumping station unit is as follows: a) Prevent damage to the unit caused by excessive vibration; b) Monitor changes in vibration characteristics.
