Scope

This part of GB/T 20111 specifies the general test procedures for the thermal evaluation and identification of electrical insulation systems (EIS), and establishes the test procedures for performance comparison between the EIS to be evaluated and the reference EIS. This part applies to the existing or proposed EIS for electrical products with a voltage of 1 000 V and below and thermal factors as the main aging factors.
