- This standard specifies the measurement method for the industrial resistance determination of the critical temperature of composite superconductors. This standard applies to single-core or multi-core composite superconductors with integrated structures of circular, flat or square cross-section, including Cu/Nb-Ti, Cu/Cu-Ni/Nb-Ti and Cu-Ni/Nb-Ti composite superconductors , Cu/Nb3 Sn and Cu/Nb3 Al composite superconductors, and metal-clad MgB2 composite superconductors, metal-stabilized Bi-based oxide superconductors, Y-based or rare earth metal based coated conductors.
