Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for thickness, bulk density, resilience, heating permanent line change, thermal conductivity, tensile strength and slag content of refractory fiber products. This standard applies to refractory fiber cotton, blankets, felts, braids, boards, paper and preformed products, not to products delivered in a wet state.
