This document specifies methods for preventing the spread of waste odour and the leakage of leachate during the collection and transportation of waste in refuse collection vehicles (RCVs), when the control of the spread of waste odour and leakage of leachate is required in order to protect the surrounding environment. This document is not applicable in cases when it is not necessary to provide control of waste odour or leachate due to the composition or packaging of waste and there is no influence on the environment due to the loaded waste.

This European Standard specifies the safety requirements for the design, manufacture and information for the safe use of compactors that compact waste material or recyclable fractions (e. g. paper, plastics, textiles, cans, cardboard, mixed waste), hereafter referred to as materials. This European Standard applies to: - compactors using a horizontally moving screw, pendulum or plate as compacting part and where the materials move horizontally; and - compactors that are mechanically fed and/or fed by hand. These compactors can be: - static compactors; - transportable compactors; - traversing systems. The scope includes: - any integral mechanical feed equipment (e.g. bin lift); - feed hoppers/openings; - any integral pre-conditioning equipment in the hopper (e.g. perforators, pre-crushing devices and shredders); - any integral material flow control equipment; - the interface between the compactor and any feed equipment (except those excluded from the scope). The scope of this European Standard does not cover: - compactors that are covered by EN 1501 (all parts); - underground compactors, however if these compactors can be used above ground this standard applies; - compactors using thermal technologies for compaction; - vacuum compactors; - compactors where materials are compacted vertically; - containers for static compactors, however the interface between the compaction unit and the container is included; - bins in which materials are collected for feeding into the compactor; - any up-stream pre-treatment equipment that is not integral to the machine and is used to treat the materials before they are fed into the feed opening of the compactor; - vehicles including lifting equipment used to collect and transport the compactor or container; - cranes, lift trucks or other transportable plant used to load materials into the feed hopper/opening and the hazards arising out of using this equipment to load; - any suction or dust control equipment. This European standard does not cover the lifting and transport of transportable compactors. This European Standard does not apply to hazards arising from the materials being processed (e.g. asbestos, clinical waste, aerosol containers). All hazards mentioned in Clause 4 are dealt with in this European Standard. This European Standard is not applicable for compactors which are manufactured before the date of its publication as an EN.

What is ISO 24162 - RCV energy consumption testing about?    Refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) carry all types of garbage, waste, and hazardous material. Proper maintenance and functioning of RCVs ensures optimum functioning. ISO 24162 is an International Standard that discusses the test method for energy consumption of RCVs. ISO 24162 specifies a uniform, reproducible testing process for various drive units, chassis, constructions, and lifting devices for the refuse collection vehicles described in EN 1501 (all parts, excluding EN 1501 ‑ 4 ), with which comparison for energy consumption can be performed. 4.1 总则 4.1.1 畜禽车应符合本文件的规定,并按规定程序批准的产品图样和技术文件制造。 4.1.2 所用的外购件、外协件应符合相关标准的规定,并有制造厂的合格证明,经整车厂检验合格后方能使用。所有自制零部件、总成件经检验合格后方可装配使用。 4.2 整车 4.2.1 畜禽车的外廓尺寸、轴荷及质量限值应符合GB 1589的规定。 4.2.2 畜禽车安全要求应符合GB 7258的规定。 4.2.3 畜禽车制动性能应符合GB 12676和GB 7258的规定。 4.2.4 畜禽车侧倾稳定角应符合GB 7258的规定。 4.2.5 畜禽车的外部照明及光信号装置的安装要求应符合GB 4785的规定。车身反光标识和车辆尾部标志板应符合GB 7258的规定。 4.2.6 畜禽车应设置符合GB 11567规定的侧面和后下部防护装置。 4.2.7 畜禽半挂车应符合GB/T 23336的规定。 4.2.8 畜禽车的焊接应符合JB/T 5943的规定。 4.2.9 畜禽车所有外露黑色金属表面均应进行防腐蚀处理。涂镀层和化学处理层应符合QC/T 625的规定。油漆涂层应符合QC/T 484的规定。 4.2.10 畜禽车各连接件连接应牢固、可靠,不得松脱。螺纹紧固件的螺纹紧固扭矩应符合QC/T 518的规定。 4.2.11 畜禽车各运动机构应动作平稳、灵活、可靠,不应有相互干涉、卡滞和冲撞现象。 4.2.12 畜禽车的电气线路、气路、水路、液压管路布置应合理、整齐、美观,夹持牢固,不应与运动部件发生摩擦和干涉。油、气、水管路不得有渗漏现象。 4.2.13 畜禽车应配置净水箱和污物废液收集箱,污物废液收集箱收集的污物废液不得外溢;污物废液收集箱的排污管道应能排净污物废液收集箱的污物废液并能接入市政排污管网;净水箱和污物废液收集箱应密封良好,不得有渗漏现象。 4.2.14 畜禽车应配备饮水设施、设置补水接口。 4.2.15 畜禽车车厢应设置通风装置和温控装置,以满足GB/T 20014.11的要求。 4.2.16 畜禽车应设有安全装置,以防止装卸时导致畜禽掉落。 4.3 车厢 4.3.1 畜禽车车厢结构应为封闭式。 4.3.2 畜禽车车厢宜采用铝合金材料或不锈钢材料制造。 4.3.3 畜禽车车厢外表面应光滑平整,无明显的凹凸和锤痕。 4.3.4 畜禽车车厢内可根据装运畜禽的品种分成多层,车厢底板、上层地板应防滑,上层地板应密封良好,畜禽排泄物不得渗漏。 4.3.5 畜禽车上层地板可根据畜禽大小设定不同高度,上层地板应坚固,应有足够的强度。 4.3.6 畜禽车车厢内隔层净高度应满足GB/T 20014.11的要求。 4.3.7 畜禽车车厢应设置围栏和隔离设施,围栏长度和隔离设施高度应满足GB/T 20014.11的要求。 4.3.8 畜禽车车厢应设置检查口和观察口。 4.3.9 畜禽车车厢应装备安全系挂装置。 4.3.10 畜禽车车厢厢顶应防水、坚固、隔热保温。 4.3.11 畜禽车车厢厢体应隔热,厢内宜配备照明设备。 4.3.12 畜禽车车厢底部应密封良好。 4.3.13 畜禽车车厢门应开关灵活,锁止可靠,在行驶过程中不得自动开启。 4.3.14 畜禽车车厢与底盘连接应牢固可靠,在行驶过程中车厢与底盘之间不得发生相对运动。 4.3.15 畜禽车车厢应方便人员上下车及畜禽装卸。 4.3.16 畜禽车车厢后部用于装卸用的尾板应符合QC/T 699的规定。 4.3.17 尾板的选型、设计、安装应符合GB/T 37706的规定,并可靠保证安全使用。 4.4 液压系统 4.4.1 液压系统应符合GB/T 3766的规定,在1.25倍额定工作压力下保持5min系统零部件不得损坏变形和渗漏。 4.4.2 液压元件应符合GB/T 7935的规定。 4.4.3 平衡阀和液压锁与执行机构的连接应是刚性连接。 4.4.4 液压系统应设置安全阀,其调整压力应不大于系统额定工作压力的110%。 4.4.5 液压油固体污染度应符合QC/T 29104的规定,其固体污染颗粒数代码为21/18。 4.4.6 液压系统应保证散热的要求,工作时油箱内液压油温度应不超过80℃。 4.5 运送生猪的车辆要求 4.5.1 车厢内应装备喷淋系统,喷水应呈雾状,喷水覆盖率应大于等于80%(包括上层地板)。 4.5.2 车厢内每层应设置观察厢内动态的视频监控装置。 4.5.3 车辆应装备符合GB/T 19056要求的汽车行驶记录仪。
