1.1 This practice covers the measurement of the pH and chloride ion of water extraction of aerospace hydraulic fluids. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. This standard specifies the characteristics of gasket seal with nickel alloy C seal on heat resisting steel, 3 holes, for pipe couplings for inch series aerospace applications. Nominal pressure: up to 21000 kPa; depends on the associated tube material and tube wall thickness in the assembly (see EN 4814). Temperature range: -55 °C to 600 °C. NOTE Assembly in accordance with TR 4815. This part should not be reused after disassembling.

This document establishes the general requirements for electric motor driven, variable delivery, hydraulic pumps suitable for use in aircraft hydraulic systems. This document includes the general requirements for Alternating Current (AC) induction electric motor powered units. The AC power electrical power supply can be either controlled to provide a Constant Frequency (CF) or uncontrolled to provide a Variable Frequency (VF) AC supply to the electric motor. This document is intended to be used in conjunction with the detail specification that is particular to each application.

This European Standard specifies the dimensions, tolerances and required characteristics of protective caps to seal fluid ports during transportation and storage in order to prevent: - contamination by moisture, fluids, chemicals and particles; - spillage inside package or aircraft section; - port and pipe end damages; - port and pipe clogging due to plug ingestion. Because of the cleanliness requirements, parts shall only be used once.
