This document is applicable to qualification testing of personnel (brazers) engaged in manual brazing of parts in aerospace construction. The application will ensure that such a test is carried out in accordance with a standard test specification on standard test pieces under standard conditions. A brazer qualification test properly passed in accordance with the terms of this standard ensures that the brazer concerned has proved that he prossesses at least the minimum degree of manual skills and technical knowledge demanded by the state of the art.
