Scope: This standard specifies the emission limits and test methods for gaseous and particulate pollutants emitted by vehicles equipped with compression ignition engines and their engines; and vehicles equipped with ignition engines that use natural gas (NG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel The emission limits and measurement methods of gaseous pollutants emitted by its engines. This standard is applicable to the type inspection, production consistency inspection, new production vehicle type inspection and production consistency inspection of M2, M3, N1, N2 and N3 vehicles equipped with compression ignition and gas fuel ignition engines, and M1 vehicles with a total mass greater than 3500kg. Emission supervision inspection and in-use vehicle compliance inspection. The type inspection of the whole vehicle according to this standard can be extended to variant and modified vehicles with a reference mass exceeding 2380kg. If the M1, M2, N1 and N2 category vehicles equipped with compression ignition and gas fuel ignition engines have undergone type inspection according to GB18352.6-2016, the type inspection may not be carried out according to this standard.
