GB 17691-2005 Limits and measurement methods for exhaust pollutants from compression ignition and gas fuelled positive ignition engines of vehicles (Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ) (English Version)
This standard specifies the emission limits and test methods for gaseous and particulate pollutants emitted by vehicles equipped with compression ignition engines and their compression ignition engines; Emission limits and measurement methods of gaseous pollutants emitted by type-engine vehicles and their ignition-type engines. This standard is applicable to M2, M3, N1, N2 and N3 with a design speed greater than 25km/h and the total mass is greater than Type approval, inspection of production consistency and conformity inspection of in-use vehicles for compression ignition (including gaseous fuel ignition) engines installed in 3500kg M1 motor vehicles and their vehicles. If N1 and M2 vehicles equipped with compression ignition (including gaseous fuel ignition) engines have complied with GB 18352.3-2005 "Light Vehicle Pollutant Emission Limits and Measurement Methods (China Ⅲ, If the type approval has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of "Phase IV)", the engine does not need to be type approved according to this standard.
