Scope
This chapter in GB 16915.1 is changed to read as follows: This part specifies the classification, protection against electric shock, grounding measures, structural requirements, mechanical properties, electrical Performance technical requirements. This part of GB 16915 applies to electronic switches and associated electronic auxiliary devices for household and similar fixed electrical installations for indoor or outdoor use. This standard applies to electronic switches for operating lighting circuits, controlling the brightness of lamps (dimmers), controlling the speed of motors (for example, for exhaust fans, etc.) and for other purposes (for example, heating control), the rated voltage of these switches Not exceeding AC 250V, rated current not exceeding 16A. The above-mentioned operation and/or control is realized artificially through the starting element, the sensing surface and the sensing device, by means of touch, proximity, rotation, light, sound, heat or other influences. This standard also applies to electronic switches with built-in automatic functions for general purposes, the operation and/or control of such electronic switches is stimulated by changes in physical quantities, such as light, temperature, humidity, time, wind speed, human motion exist and so on. This section also applies to mounting boxes for electronic switches, except for mounting boxes for concealed electronic switches. This standard also applies to electronic remote control switches (RCS) and electronic time-delay switches (TDS), of which the rated voltage does not exceed 440V, the rated current does not exceed 25A, intended for indoor or outdoor use, household and similar fixed electrical appliances device. Note 1: Switches with only passive components (for example, resistors, capacitors, inductors, PTC and NTC components, varistors, printed circuit boards and connectors) are not considered electronic switches. Note 2: The electronic switch can have a control circuit with AC or DC rated control voltage. Electronic switches complying with this standard are suitable for use in ambient temperatures which normally do not exceed 35 °C, occasionally reaching 40 °C1). In places with special conditions, for example, on ships, vehicles and similar places and in hazardous places (for example, where explosions may occur), special structures may be required. Note 3: This section does not intend to cover devices designed to be installed in appliances, or devices expected to be delivered with specific electrical appliances, and devices within the scope of GB 14536 or GB 15092. Design examples of electronic switches and their functions are given in Appendix AA. Note 4: An electronic switch without a mechanical switch in the main circuit cannot form a "full off state". Therefore, the circuit on the load side should be considered live.
