Scope
This part of GB/T 25000 defines: a) Use quality model, which consists of 5 characteristics, each characteristic can be further subdivided into some sub-characteristics, these characteristics are related to the quality of the product when it is used in a specific use environment Interaction results. This system model can be applied to the entire human-machine system, including both computer systems in use and software products in use. b) Product quality model, which consists of 8 characteristics, each characteristic can be further subdivided into some sub-characteristics, these characteristics are related to the static nature of the software and the dynamic nature of the computer system. This model can be applied to both computer systems and software products. The characteristics defined by these two models are relevant to all software products and computer systems. These characteristics and subcharacteristics provide consistent terminology for specifying, measuring, and evaluating system and software product quality. They also provide a set of quality characteristics against which the completeness of stated quality requirements can be compared. The data quality model in ISO/IEC 25012:2008 is a supplement to the model given in this part of ISO/IEC 25012:2008. The scope of the two models mentioned above does not include purely functional properties (see C.6), but includes functional properties (see 4.3.2.1). The scope of application of quality models includes support for the identification and evaluation of software and software-intensive computer systems from different perspectives related to acquisition, requirements, development, use, evaluation, support, maintenance, quality assurance, and auditing. For example, the model can be used by developers, purchasers, quality assurance and control personnel, and independent evaluators, especially those responsible for determining and evaluating the quality of software products. Activities during product development that can benefit from the use of quality models include: - identification of system and software requirements; - identification of detailed requirements definitions; - identification of system and software design objectives; - identification of system and software testing Objectives; - Identify quality control criteria as part of quality assurance; - Identify acceptance criteria for software products and/or software-intensive computer systems; - Establish measures of quality characteristics that support these activities.
