Scope

This technical condition is applicable to all kinds of reactive power compensation devices (hereinafter referred to as devices) that use shunt capacitors to improve the power factor of asynchronous motors, inductive loads and power supply and distribution systems in continuous operation with AC 50Hz and rated working voltage not exceeding 1200V.
