- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, service conditions, structure and performance requirements, design verification and routine inspection of low-voltage complete sets of reactive power compensation devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). This standard applies to low-voltage complete sets of reactive power compensation devices with a rated AC voltage not exceeding 1 000 V (or 1 140 V) and a frequency not exceeding 1 000 Hz.
