Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the slag content of refractory ceramic fiber products. This standard applies to refractory ceramic fiber cotton, blankets, felts, woven fabrics and paper. This standard does not apply to products delivered in a wet state and products with a shot content of less than 5%.
