Scope: This chapter in GB 16915.1-1997 is applicable after the following modifications. This standard applies to remote control switches (hereinafter referred to as RCS). This standard applies to electromagnetic RCS with rated voltage not exceeding 440V and rated current not exceeding 63A, and to electronic RCS with rated voltage not exceeding 250V and rated current not exceeding 16A. These two RCS are intended for use in household and similar fixed electrical installations, either indoors or outdoors. In the electronic RCS, all components containing electronic components in the control circuit or switch circuit shall meet the applicable requirements in GB 16915.2.
