Scope

This standard specifies the limit value of energy efficiency, energy saving evaluation value, test method and inspection rules of room air conditioners. This standard applies to room air conditioners with air-cooled condensers, fully enclosed motor-compressors, cooling capacity below 14000W, and climate type T1. This standard does not apply to room air conditioners of one-drag multi-split type, mobile type and variable frequency compressor.
