Scope

This standard specifies the limit value of energy efficiency, energy-saving evaluation value, determination method of energy efficiency level, test method and inspection rules of room air conditioners. This standard applies to air conditioners with air-cooled condensers, fully enclosed motor-compressors, cooling capacity of 14,000W or less, and climate type T₁. This standard does not apply to mobile, speed-controllable, and multi-connected air-conditioning units.
