Scope: This standard is one of the series standards of "Filament Bulbs for Road Motor Vehicles" used in headlamps, fog lamps and signal lamps of road motor vehicles. This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for properties such as life, lumen maintenance, torsional strength, glass envelope strength and vibration resistance. In addition, maximum temperature limits, maximum filament bulb profile and maximum permissible voltage surge are given as guidelines for the design of lighting and electrical installations. These performance requirements are supplements to the basic requirements stipulated in GB 15766.1-2000, and these performance requirements are not the basis for the type approval of products by authoritative organizations or the consistency inspection of batch products.
