Scope

This standard specifies the limits and test methods for exhaust pollutants from vehicles in use. This standard is applicable to in-use vehicles equipped with ignition-type four-stroke engines and compression-ignition engines, with a maximum gross mass greater than or equal to 400kg, and a maximum design speed greater than or equal to 50km/h.
