Scope

This part of GB/T 17214 considers the corrosion and immersion of onshore and offshore industrial process measurement and control systems or system components during use, during installation but not in use, and during storage and transportation. Corrosive industrial environment. Maintenance and repair conditions are not considered within the scope of this section. The environmental effects considered in this section are limited to those that may directly affect the process measurement and control system or components of the system. The impact of special environmental conditions on personnel is not considered in this section. The on-site environment of the device during work, transportation and storage should be determined with the corresponding values of the physical or chemical parameters listed in this section and the qualitative description of the environment. This section only considers these conditions themselves, and the impact on the instrument caused by these conditions is not included in this section. Many of the environmental conditions listed in this section are difficult to classify and thus characterize the environment qualitatively.
