Scope

This section applies to residential areas, commercial areas, public places, agricultural and industrial building busbar trunking system (BTS) and auxiliary facilities for feeding and distribution. This section is also applicable to the busbar system equipped with communication and/or control system or the busbar system provided with lighting through tap-off units, but not applicable to the power supply line system in accordance with GB/T 13961-2003. The bus trunk system described in this part (including various length units and bending units), if tested in accordance with Chapter 8 of this part, is considered to be a type test assembly (TTA). A tap-off unit may be considered a Part Type Test Assembly (PTTA).
