Scope
This part gives supplementary requirements for enclosed distribution boards (DBU), which are equipped with protective devices and are indoor fixed installation type test equipment (TTA), suitable for civil (household) or non-professional Use in places where personnel can enter. The switchboard can also include control devices and/or signaling devices. They are used for AC and their nominal voltage to ground does not exceed 300V. When the total input load current does not exceed 250A, the rated current of each short-circuit protection device included in the output circuit does not exceed 125A. Under normal circumstances, such equipment can be accessed by non-professionals, for example to operate switches or replace fuses.
