Scope

This part of GB/T 6072 specifies the general requirements and definitions for the torsional vibration of the shafting of the unit driven by the reciprocating internal combustion engine. Where necessary, separate requirements may be made for specific purpose engines. This part of GB/T 6072 applies to land, railway traction and marine reciprocating internal combustion engine driven units, but does not include driving road construction machinery, earth moving machinery, agricultural tractors, industrial tractors, automobiles and trucks and aircraft units.
