Scope

This part of GB 1094 stipulates the measurement method of sound pressure and sound intensity, and uses it to determine the sound power level of transformers, reactors and cooling equipment installed therein. These methods are applicable to transformers and reactors that comply with GB 1094 series, GB/T 10229, GB 6450 and GB/T 18494 series, and whose capacity and voltage level are not limited, and their normal cooling equipment (if any). This section is mainly applicable to noise measurements in factories. As for the measurement in the field, due to the influence of nearby objects (including other transformers), the measurement conditions in the field are quite different from those in the factory. However, when noise measurements need to be made in the field, the general rules given in this section can still be followed.
