Scope

This part of GB 5135 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of sprinkler heads of automatic sprinkler systems. This section applies to sprinkler system sprinkler heads. This section does not apply to early suppression rapid response (ESFR) sprinklers, multi-orifice sprinklers, water mist sprinklers, water curtain sprinklers, shutter sprinklers, wide-diameter sprinklers, and extended coverage area (EC) sprinklers.
