- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of hard disk drives (hereinafter referred to as products). This standard is mainly applicable to 2.5 in and 3.5 in hard disk drives, and is the basis for formulating product standards. Other specifications can be used as a reference.
