This part of GB/T 3480 includes contact stress and root bending stress, and gives the fatigue limit value. This part specifies the material quality, heat treatment process, and introduces the influence of materials and processes on the two ultimate stress values. The data in this section is applicable to the calculations in IS0 6336-2 and IS0 6336-3, applicable to industrial gears, high-speed and marine gears, and also applicable to the calculation of bevel gear bearing capacity. The data in this part can be used for various gears, reference racks, tooth sizing and design processes in the above-mentioned standards, and the results are consistent with the other methods listed in the scope of application of IS0 6336-1.
