- This standard specifies the general technical conditions and technical requirements for water recreation facilities. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, installation, modification, maintenance, test, inspection and use management of various types of water amusement facilities such as water slides, amusement pools, canyon rafting, and cruise ships. This standard does not apply to ships with more than 6 passengers and operated by special personnel.
