This part of GB15558 specifies the terms and definitions, materials, general requirements, geometric dimensions, mechanical properties, physical properties, test methods, Inspection rules, signs and packaging, transportation and storage. This section applies to buried polyethylene valves for gas made of PE80 and PE100 blends. The valves specified in this section are used in conjunction with the pipes specified in GB 15558.1-2003 and the pipe fittings specified in GB 15558.2-2005 for gas transmission. This part applies to two-way valves with spigot end or electrofusion socket end. The dimensions of the spigot end and electrofusion socket end of the valve conform to GB 15558.2-2005. pipe connection. This section applies to valves with a nominal outer diameter less than or equal to 315mm, and the operating temperature range is between -20°C and 40°C. When transporting artificial gas and liquefied petroleum gas, the adverse effects of other components in the gas (such as aromatic hydrocarbons, condensate, etc.) on valve performance at a certain concentration should be considered.
