Scope
This part of GB 15558 specifies the definition, material, appearance, geometric dimensions, mechanical properties, and physical properties of the buried polyethylene pipes for gas (hereinafter referred to as "pipes") extruded with polyethylene compounds as the main raw material. , signs, inspection rules and packaging, transportation, storage. This section also specifies the basic performance requirements for compounding ingredients, including classification. This section applies to buried polyethylene pipes for gas made of PE80 and PE100 materials. The nominal outer diameter of the pipe is 16mm to 630mm. When transporting artificial gas and liquefied petroleum gas, the adverse effects of other components in the gas (such as: aromatic hydrocarbons, condensate) on the performance of the pipe at a certain concentration should be considered.
