This standard specifies the method for the determination of citrinin in red yeast rice products. This standard applies to the determination of citrinin in red yeast rice, red yeast rice (solid and liquid), red yeast fermentation broth and health food produced with Monascus. In this standard, the limit of quantification for citrinin in liquid samples is 50 μg/L, and the limit of quantification for citrinin in solid samples is 1 mg/kg.
