Scope: This part of GB 14232 specifies the requirements (including performance requirements) for airtight, sterile plastic blood bags. The blood bag can be equipped with a blood collection tube, a blood transfusion socket, a blood collection needle and a transfer tube, and is used for collection, storage, processing, transfer, separation and transfusion of blood and blood components. According to the requirements of use, the blood bag can be filled with anticoagulant and (or) maintenance solution. This part of GB 14232 is also applicable to multi-connected plastic blood bags, such as double-connected, triple-connected or multi-connected blood bags. Unless otherwise specified, all tests specified in this part of GB 14232 apply to plastic blood bags to be used. This part of GB 14232 does not apply to plastic blood bags integrated with filters.
