GB/T 2910.17-2009 Textiles.Quantitative chemical analysis.Part 17:Mixtures of chlorofibers(homopolymers of vinyl chloride)and certain other fibers(method using sulfuric acid ) (English Version)
This part of GB/T 2910 specifies the method for determining the content of chlorine-containing fibers in a mixture of the following fibers after removal of non-fibrous matter by the sulfuric acid method: Chlorine-containing fibers based on vinyl chloride homopolymer (whether post-chlorinated or not) ); cotton, viscose, cupro, modal, acetate, triacetate, polyamide, polyester, certain acrylic fibers, and certain modacrylic fibers. [The modified polyacrylonitrile fiber here refers to the fiber dissolved when put into concentrated sulfuric acid (ρ=1.84g/ml)]. When preliminary tests show that chlorine-containing fibers cannot be completely dissolved in dimethylformamide or carbon disulfide/acetone azeotropic mixture, this method can be used instead of GB/T 2910.12 and GB/T 2910.13.
