GB/T 2910.6-2009 Textiles.Quantitative chemical analysis.Part 6:Mixtures of viscose or certain types of cupro or modal or lyocell and cotton fibres(method using formic acid and zinc chloride) (English Version)
This part of GB/T 2910 specifies the method for determining the content of viscose fiber, certain cupro ammonia fiber, modal fiber or lyocell fiber and cotton fiber mixture after removing non-fibrous substances by the formic acid/zinc chloride method. If there are copper ammonia fibers, modal fibers or lyocell fibers in the sample, it should be pre-tested whether it is soluble in the reagent. This section does not apply to cotton fibers in mixtures that have been subjected to severe chemical degradation, nor to viscose, cupro, modal or lyocell fibers in which durable finishes or reactive dyes cannot be completely removed, so that it cannot be completely dissolved. Warning: Personnel using this part of GB/T 2910 should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. It is the user's responsibility to take appropriate safety and health measures and ensure compliance with relevant national regulations.
