Scope

This part of GB/T 24242 specifies the grades, technical requirements and test methods of non-alloy steel wire rods for general purpose wire rods for wire making. This standard applies to non-alloy steel general-purpose wire rods for the manufacture of cold-drawn or cold-rolled steel wire.
