Scope

This part of GB/T 18268 specifies the electromagnetic compatibility immunity and emission requirements for electrical equipment for professional, industrial process, industrial manufacturing and educational use, which are powered by a power supply of less than 1000 V AC or 1 500 V DC or batteries, or operated by power from the line under test, including equipment and computing devices used in industrial and non-industrial settings: measurement and testing; control; laboratory use; auxiliary equipment used in combination with the above equipment (such as sample processing equipment) . Computing devices and components and similar equipment falling within the scope of information technology equipment (abbreviated as ITE) may be used in systems within the scope of this part of GB/T 18268 if they comply with the corresponding electromagnetic compatibility standards for information technology equipment, without Additional testing is required. This series of product standards takes precedence over the general standards. This standard deals with the following equipment: a) Electrical equipment for measurement and testing. This type of equipment refers to equipment that uses electricity to measure, indicate or record one or more electrical or non-electrical quantities. It also includes non-measuring equipment, such as signal generators, Measuring standards, power supplies and sensors. b) Electrical equipment for control. This type of equipment refers to equipment that controls one or more outputs to specified values, each of which is manually set, locally or remotely programmed, or controlled by one or more inputs. This category of equipment includes industrial process measurement and control devices, which consist of devices such as: process controllers and regulators; eleven programmable controllers; power supply units for equipment and systems (centralized or dedicated); analog/digital Indicators and recorders; process detection instruments; sensors, positioners, intelligent actuators, etc. c) Electrical equipment for laboratory use. This type of equipment refers to equipment used to measure, indicate, monitor or analyze substances, or to prepare materials, including in vitro diagnostic equipment. Such devices may also be used in settings other than laboratories, such as home self-testing in vitro diagnostic devices. This standard applies to: equipment used in industrial locations; equipment used in laboratories or test and measurement areas with a controlled electromagnetic environment; portable test and measurement equipment.
