Scope: The limits specified in this standard are used to provide protection for broadcasting receivers used in residential environments within the frequency range of 30MHz to 1 000MHz. However, meeting the requirements of this standard does not provide adequate protection for new types of radio transmitters or receivers used in residential environments within 10m of vehicles, boats or devices. This standard applies to sources of electromagnetic emissions that may cause interference to radio reception. Refer to the flowchart in Appendix G to help determine the applicability of this standard. This standard does not apply to aircraft, household appliances, traction systems (trains, trams and trolleybuses) and incomplete vehicles. For dual-mode trolleybuses (for example, both AC/DC power supply and internal combustion engine can be used), the internal combustion engine drive part belongs to the scope of this standard, while the AC/DC power drive part does not belong to the scope of this standard. This standard does not include the measurement of electromagnetic disturbances when the vehicle is connected to the power supply for charging. Users can refer to relevant national standards that specify measurement methods and limit values for this condition.
