- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, classification and marking, structure and materials, requirements, and test methods of gas pressure regulators (hereinafter referred to as pressure regulators) used in urban gas (artificial gas and natural gas, the same below) transmission and distribution systems , inspection rules, signs, labels, instructions for use, and packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to the inlet pressure not greater than 4.0MPa, the operating temperature range (the medium and body temperature range where the regulator components and additional devices can work normally) does not exceed -20 ° C ~ 60 ° C and the lower limit is not lower than the gas dew point temperature, A pressure regulator for regulating outlet pressure with a nominal size not greater than 300mm. The pressure regulators used in pipeline liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied petroleum gas mixed air transmission and distribution systems shall be implemented according to this standard. This standard does not apply to regulators, bottled liquefied petroleum gas regulators and regulators for dimethyl ether. All the pressure values not indicated in this standard are mean gauge pressure values, and the unit is MPa.
