Scope
This part of GB/T 2878 specifies the dimensions, performance requirements and test procedures for metric adjustable and non-adjustable heavy-duty (S series) column ends and O-rings. The non-adjustable stud end conforming to this part is suitable for a maximum working pressure of 63 MPa (630 bar), and the adjustable stud end is suitable for a maximum working pressure of 40 MPa (400 bar). The allowable working pressure should be determined according to the stud end size, material, structure, working conditions and application conditions. Products conforming only to dimensions in this section are not guaranteed to meet rated performance. The manufacturer should conduct tests in accordance with the specifications contained in this standard to ensure that the components meet the rated performance.
