This standard specifies the radiation protection requirements for medical electron accelerators (hereinafter referred to as accelerators) used in clinical treatment, including basic requirements, radiation protection performance requirements of accelerators, protection and safe operation requirements for treatment rooms, quality control requirements and monitoring methods. This standard applies to the production and use of medical electron accelerators with nominal energy below 50 MeV.
