Scope
This standard is applicable to thyristor valves for commutation converters of ±800kV high-voltage direct current transmission network and metal oxide arresters directly connected at both ends of the valve. This standard is limited to electrical type tests and product tests. The tests specified in this standard are based on air-insulated water-cooled valves. Other types of valves can also refer to the requirements and acceptance criteria of this standard.
