Scope: This standard specifies the safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation and operation of passenger ground cable cars. This standard applies to commercial passenger ground cable cars. This standard does not apply to non-commercial ground cable cars and commuter cable cars for wharfs, mines, and underground professional purposes.
