Scope: This chapter of GB/T 11918.1-2014 is applicable with the following modifications: the first and second paragraphs are replaced by the following: This part of GB/T 11918 specifies industrial socket-outlets and connectors with or without interlocking switches Anti-shock protection, interlock, switch and its components, structure, mechanical strength, electrical performance and other technical requirements. This Part is applicable to those mainly used for industrial purposes, for indoor or outdoor use, with a rated working voltage not exceeding 1000 V dc or ac and 500 Hz, and a rated current not exceeding 800 A, connected by a socket or connector complying with GB/T 11918.1 An independent product combined with a switching device in the same housing. Add after the second paragraph: These accessories are only intended to be used by trained [electrical] personnel (GB/T 2900.73-2008, definition 195-04-02) or skilled [electrical] technicians (GB/T 2900.73-2008, definition 195 -04-01) installation and use. The product may contain an interlock and/or protective device.
