This standard specifies the general requirements for metal heat exchangers, and specifies the requirements for materials, design, manufacture, inspection, acceptance, installation and use of shell-and-tube heat exchangers. The general requirements of this standard apply to shell-and-tube heat exchangers and other structural heat exchangers, and all the contents of this standard apply to shell-and-tube heat exchangers. The design pressure applicable to this standard: a) The design pressure of shell-and-tube heat exchangers is not greater than 35 MPa; b) The design pressure of heat exchangers of other structural types is determined according to the corresponding reference standards. The design temperature applicable to this standard: a) steel shall not exceed the allowable service temperature range of materials listed in GB 150.2-2011; b) other metal materials shall be determined according to the allowable service temperature of materials listed in the corresponding referenced standards. The applicable nominal diameter of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger in this standard is not greater than 4000mm, and the product of the design pressure (MPa) and the nominal diameter (mm) is not greater than 2.7×104. Shell-and-tube heat exchangers beyond the scope of Article 1.5 can be constructed with reference to this standard. This standard does not apply to the following heat exchangers: a) heat exchangers heated by direct flames; b) flue-type waste heat boilers; c) heat exchangers with neutron radiation damage failure risks in nuclear energy installations; d ) non-metallic heat exchangers; e) heat exchangers with other national standards or industry standards in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry. Defining range of heat exchanger: a) Connection between heat exchanger and external pipe: 1) The first circumferential joint bevel end face of welded connection; 2) The first threaded joint end face of threaded connection; 3) The second flanged joint end face A flange sealing surface; 4) the first sealing surface of a special connection or pipe fitting connection. b) pressure-bearing heads, flat covers, and fasteners for connection pipes, manholes, hand holes, etc.; c) connection welds between non-pressure components and pressure components; d) non-pressure components directly connected to the heat exchanger; Pressure components such as supports, backing plates, etc.; e) Overpressure relief devices installed on heat exchangers.
