Scope: This part specifies the manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements of steel pressure vessels within the applicable scope of GB 150; the manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements of pressure vessels made of other materials shall be in accordance with relevant standards. The structural types of pressure vessels applicable to this part are single-layer welded pressure vessels, forged welded pressure vessels and multi-layer pressure vessels (including multi-layer barrel section wrapping, multi-layer overall wrapping, steel strip winding and sleeved vessels). For low-temperature pressure vessels made of austenitic steel (the design temperature is lower than -196°C), the parties involved in the construction shall negotiate and stipulate additional manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements, and the design unit shall specify them in the design documents.
