NB/T 47013.4-2015 (English Version)

Scope: This part of NB/T 47013 specifies the magnetic particle testing methods and quality classification requirements for welds of pressure equipment, their raw materials, and machined components. This section is applicable to the detection of surface or near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials such as plates, composite plates, pipes, pipe fittings and forgings, as well as the detection of surface or near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials such as butt joints, T-shaped welded joints and corner joints. , not suitable for detection of non-ferromagnetic materials. Supporting parts and structural parts related to pressure-bearing equipment may also be subjected to magnetic particle testing with reference to this section.
