Scope

This standard specifies the classification, specifications and basic technical requirements of rubber hoses for oil discharge and suction at offshore moorings. This standard applies to rubber hoses for conveying crude oil or liquid petroleum products underwater or on the water surface. This standard does not apply to rubber hoses for transporting liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas.
